Artist History
Born on October 21, 1978, the self proclaimed titan of Triton lives in a world where redundant tunes take grand precedence over variety. Hoping to remedy mainstream monotony; Skytzo works diligently creating audio alchemy, representing his cosmopolitan hometown, Montreal. Like many who inhabit planet earth; Skytzo, is a lover of music, and many of the genres this particular art form spawned. One particular genre; That being rap music, seduced Skytzo into maneuvering peoples emotions by the human ear vibing to beats he masterminds aided by the Korg Triton. Exercising his gift for mood shifting, gamered the titan a record deal with BMG Distributed Montreal Imprint Monigram in January 1998. Due to artistic and company politics; Skytzo parted company with his former label, enabling him to move forward progressing his style beyond normal boundaries. Not one to be solely classified as a music producer, Skytzo known to Friends & family as Mikey, was casted as a lead character in a Canadian movie titled "The Great Land Of Small" at the tender age of seven. When asked what does he see his music as, and hope to accomplish with it: His answers are heartfelt, yet expose candid honesty from a practical man. "I perceive my music as my home. It's where my mind finally rests"."With my music; laments Skytzo, I wish to see people from all walks of life vibe to my sound pieces. At the present moment, I could care less about fame, but like everybody else out there who crafts musical production, I want to sell records...Bottom line". Quite interesting views expressed from a ripe talent who lists day to day existence as influence on him creating brilliant eardrum diversity.
