The place is America and the time is well into the future. The Dead Stars On Hollywood produce sci-fi glamrock with a true seductive melodic allure and smouldering stage presentation. Artist History
Originally from NYC, vocalist / songwriter Kneel Cohn met British record producer Fran Ashcroft (whose credits include BLUR) and subsequently recorded the singles "prozac smile" & "flaunt it like this" originally under the band moniker of STRONGBOX. Soon after, a Los Angeles film production company took notice of the songs and the band was persued by New Line Cinema to provide a track for the motion picture BLAST as well as a cameo appearance from Kneel Cohn in the film itself. The concept for The Dead Stars On Hollywood was cast. Band members TJ. Hamilton (bass), Ron Mc Lin (drums) and Atari Baby (synth) soon filled out the group that became The Dead Stars on Hollywood. |
