Artist History
Almeros ('Almer' in real life) was born in 1979 in The Netherlands. He does not have a spanish background.
The name 'Almeros' is actually his internet nickname.
At the age of six he started experimenting with a taperecorder. That was fun, and he started
thinking of a career in music :) Almeros got flute lessons for the purpose of learning to read notes.
The note reading part didn't quite work out but the fun in music started to grow bigger and bigger!
Meanwhile, his parents got him aquainted with all sorts of pop music.
Almeros started producing his own 4-track songs with an Amiga 500 around 1993. Later he switched to a PC.
After working hard in a summervacation Almeros was able to buy his FIRST Synthesiser... the 'Yamaha CS1x'!
He hooked it up to a PC and specialised in Dance and Trance. He produced a lot of songs and also started
a band with some friends which made music inspired by 'Faithless' and 'Massive Attack'.
Over the years Almeros learned more about studio equipment, MIDI- and soundsoftware, writing, producing,
mixing and mastering songs. Since a year the electric guitar has come to his interest too!
Nowadays Almeros is working with two producers/songwriters for the more commercial music
lovers. Lots of singers visit Almeros's studio. For example: Donna Lynton, Izaline Calister
and many more that will probably make some name in the near future!
Almeros also does a lot of songs with friends and by himself. These songs are sometimes more to the
underground and can be found on this site.
Hope you enjoy the music! |
