Artist description Since the age of 5 T-Roy has been playing the guitar. His Grandfather Mr. Al Sweatt A long time Radio personality Gospel Singer and Song Writer with popular songs such as whiping post,paint the town red,& recorded with and wrote two songs for JJ Cale & the Valentines somewhat of rockabilly fame etc..was the biggest inspiration on T-Roy. T-Roy has played in almost every musical setting and about every musical style. From studio work to stage he continues to hammer out original tunes and thought provoking lyrics.

Artist History At age 5 T-Roy was given his first guitar a silvertone acoustic. In the 4th grade T-Roy wants to join the band in school and since guitar wasn't a choice for a band instrument he begins playing saxaphone. He plays this thru the 10th grade. Saxaphone introduced him into the world of Jazz and Blues styles. T-roy at age 19 was offered a Lead Guitar position with a well known country band. Then later several other offers from metal,rock bands. T-Roy decided that his faith in the lord was eternal. Faith in the pursuit of fame would be just fleeting. and declines several offers however he did do some recording work for several local artists and an occasional gig. T-Roy loves many styles of music. He all but refuses to do "cover tunes" stating that trying to sound like someone else is a very poor way to convey self expression. and dedicated his musical life to original scores and primarily a relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. T-Roy plays quit often at his family church 7th Day Bible Church located at 712 N. Richmond. Tulsa Ok. USA
