Artist History I started out as a lot of musicians do, a student of the piano. But after awhile, the freedom to move and the allure of an instrument that could make your hair move turned me on to the guitar. As a pianist and guitarist, there are always two opposing sides: the side that is concerned about subtlety and finesse and the side that just wants to rock out until the windows break. Currently, I'm trying to balance those two sides as I've previously just picked one or the other depending on what situation I was involved with. So that brings me to what I'm trying to accomplish with Last Train Out, a balance between the mood and beauty of the piano and the bombast that is the electric guitar. Whether it works or not is still to be seen. But if it doesn't, there's always the next project. Other hobbies/obsessions involve electronic music, scoring multimedia products, bootlegging local bands (i.e. the poor man's demo), billiards, chess, and tai chi.
