Artist description Since the explosive conception of Blood Star Halo in late 2000, the band has been making waves in the local underground scene. The band delivers unrelenting high energy performances. Their musical carnage can be experienced live throughout California, Arizona, and Nevada. With their first recordings unleashed in the spring of 2001, the band quickly gained enthusiastic fans and rave reviews. These three heated and catchy tunes boil with brutal energy. Blood Star Halo is Dust Devil (Lead Vocals), Ash Haze (Lead Guitar), Nine Bones (Bass Guitar), Diesel (Drums), and Trick (Samples and Loops). With older influences such as Slayer, Sepultura, Ministry and Obituary blended along with new influences such as System of a Down, Soulfly, and Godsmack, Blood Star Halo combines the new sounds and production techniques of today with bleeding melodies and aggressive heavy solid crunch. The band plans a fall 2002 release of an as yet untitled full length CD. This production of primal fury and primitive cool will be recorded at Black Door Studios in Santa Monica California.
