Artist description 90 Million Miles, the first major release from the band Bayadera, is set to hit the ground running this summer. The Orange County California based group consists of Gina Bandy (lead vocals), Dat Nguyen (guitars, backup vocals), Chris Payne (bass, backup vocals), Mehrdad Saatara (guitars) and Adam Reesman (drums). Originally formed in 1999 the band has seen its share of stylistic and personnel changes. The result has been positive, as Bayadera transformed into a powerful, energetic mixture of guitar driven rock with emotionally deep vocals and ethnic/electronic nuances. Bayadera has performed extensively throughout southern California including performances at the House of Blues in Anaheim, Disney Entertainment, The Galaxy Theater, The Whisky-a-Go-Go, as well as festivals on the east coast with legends such as Arturo Sandoval. The band has also had its share of media coverage from mainstream radio with Rick Dees and 102.7 KIISFM, one of southern California’s largest radio stations, to international festivals aired on KSCI TV. Bayadera has proudly endorsed Yamaha guitars for the past three years.
