Artist History
Pam started singing in English folk clubs, epecially enjoying the unaccompanied songs with the harmonies they offered the audience. As she grew up in B.C. it was a huge culture shock to walk into an English pub and see a lone singer belting out "Shoals of Herring" to a spellbound audience. She began writing at the same time and has developed as a writer and performer over the years.
Pam has a childrens music label with four CDs out and performed mainly for children as her four children grew up. She has since established rpw records and is devoted to music as well as education. She has always been active as an event organiser and while in England set up tours for a Canadian artist. Moving back and forth from Canada to England has kept her music fresh.
Beth Southwell began writing at 18 and began performing solo and then as part of the duo Revealing Grace, releasing a self titled CD. She has been running folk events ever since she can remember, coordinating music nights for coffee houses and also independently with her productions company, Nightingale Productions. She has been the organiser of the Midsummer Festival for three years and took a year off last year to travel Ireland, Scotland and Europe. Back with new songs and the release of the new CD, Out of the Woods, Beth now joins with Pam to share their music with those who visit mp3.com/Two_Tall_Women. |
