Artist History
Carole started her musical career at the age of 15 while singing in the juke joints and music halls in Jackson, Mississippi. Being a gifted vocalist, Carole used these formative years to hone her chops and learn the ropes of the club circuit. With these experiences as a building ground, Carole soon developed another passion, that of song writing. Record Producer and Publisher, James Griffin, formerly of Malaco Records, recognized this ability and signed Carole to a writing deal with Patmos Productions. Driven by the desire for a wider audience and new experiences, she moved to Nashville, Tennessee. While in Nashville, she performed with numerous, established local rock acts as well as heading up her own groups. Carole has also had a number of songs rec orded by other recording acts including cajun rockers, Evangeline of MCA/Margaritaville Records but her true passion has always been to write, perform and record her own music. It was on this quest that Carole met Studio Producer / Engineer guru Robb Ear l s.
"This Midnight Stream" cont.
Being one of the rare individuals in the Nashville music scene who can claim to be a native, Robb Earls knows what it is like to follow the beat of a different drummer. Throughout his musical career, he has worked vigil antly to avoid the pitfalls and limitations of the traditional Nashville music industry. Instead, he has devoted his producing and engineering efforts to working with the "crème de la crème" of innovative artists who have come to Nashville to record. Earls' engineering / producing credits include eclectic pop sensation, Lambchop; Virgin France recording artist, Silvain Vanot; Americana songwriter-of-songwriters, Dave Olney and more. Robb's personal musical explorations extend from being a member of t he synth-pop group, Factual to gothic steamroller, Warm Dark Pocket to the heavy rocking psychedelia of Big Bong Theory. All stand among the unique, forward-thinking talent that have come to be known as the hallmark of the Earls approach. Fresh vision, appro ach with conviction and a world of musicality are all attributes Earls brings to This Midnight Stream.
