Artist description
james curcio, the band leader, may have said it
best in a recent interview with 32b creative arts
center:
“i want it to be a series... A chronicle of a
period of time and group of people that happens
between the lines... always a group of musicians
getting together and with very little rehearsal
trying to get into that sound space -- just being
there -- that is more indicative of a
psychological state than any sort of coherent,
music. I chose the title ‘shower’ as all of
these collaborative experiences allow us to
purge, in every case it has been a sort of
diarrhetic outpouring of the most subtle and
creative kind.”
See also their previous release, Bile Shower.

Artist History
Two years ago, Bile Shower was born as an experimental
project -- ill advised, ill conceived, and ill executed.
Bile Shower consisted of thick, many layered explorations
into the psychology of a neurotic pot/acid head.
The mix was balanced out with elvis covers.
Later, after the recording studio orangeface was
founded and formed, this project continues in
the forms of other showers... generally many
musicians are invited up for a weekend or week
of debauchery. The result is a shower. If you
are interested in being a part of the next
shower project feel free to email us. |
