Artist description Born in Austin, Tx. in 1979, Andrew Hallock currently pursues a bachelor of fine arts degree in composition at the University of Texas. He began to sing in choirs only three years ago and since then, his excitement for the human voice and early music has only grown. He currently sings in the UT Early Music Ensemble, the UT Concert Choir and Men's Chorus and the New Texas Festival Chorus. In Spring of 2001, he created the UT Composer's Chorale which gathers each semester to perform new student works. He is also the choir director at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was instructed by baritone Jess Walters and countertenor Keith Davis. ........................................................................................................... Christian Saemann was born in 1977 in the beautiful baroque city of Fulda, Germany, where he began taking recorder and piano lessons at the age of five years. In 1997, he finished his studies in church music at the Kirchenmusikinstitut Fulda with the "C-Examen". He was a member of several choirs, among them the Concert Choir of the University of Texas and the "Staedtischer Konzertchor Winfridia, Fulda", where he sang, accompanied, and conducted under Reinhold Feldmann, a student of Helmuth Rilling. Christian graduated in 2001 with a master's degree in physics from the University of Texas at Austin.
