Artist History Half Massive is a Chicago alternative rock/ indie rock band that started out in the summer of 2001 when Parry Doogan (vocals/guitar) started to record some of the songs the he had written while away at college on his home computer with every piece of gear the he could buy, borrow, or steal (well not too much stealing). So after a maxing out his credit cards on microphones and a half way decent guitar Parry called upon his friends Lou Kucia (Bass) and Henry Rivera (Drums), whom all played in a band together in high school, to round out the Half Massive lineup. While all of the recording was and still is done by Parry in the basement of his parent’s house Half Massive is by no means a solo act when performing live, this 3-piece can rock with the best.
