Artist description Although they are quite young in age, (each member of the band is in their mid-twenties) Elson Hood can be described as old souls. The band thrives on it's influences, which include Steeley Dan, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder and Talking Heads. While building on these influences, Elson Hood creates a contemporary sound that is both unique and soulful.

Artist History Elson Hood was formed in early 2001 by former members of "Ophelia and the Blue Ticks" and "Free Advice". Since day one, the band has been building a strong following along the college club circuit.
