Artist description We are a four piece hard rock band. Our music is sometimes hard, and sometimes melodic. Although our name would lead one to believe that we are anarchists. That is not true. Our name is more of a statement of individuality. Our songs explore personal and interpersonal issues and how they affect our happiness and growth.

Music Style A mix of alternative and metal with a hint of blues.

Musical Influences Tool, Metalica, Incubus, Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, RATM, Rammstein, Creed, and many others.

Similar Artists Our sound has been compared to Tool, Bush, Creed, Metallica, but with a difference.

Artist History DWS began in January or February of 2001 when Dan and Paul met while working as bouncers at a strip club. Eric Campbell later joined the group as our rhythm guitarist, but later left the band after he got married. Nich Maus joined next as the bassist but later switched with Dan and took over as the drummer. After Eric left Nick Salvatore took over the rhythm guitar spot, and has been kicking ass ever since. We began playing as an opening act at local shows, and have worked our way up to headlining our own shows. Once we purchased our own PA system, we were able to play any time, anywhere. We have recently begun playing acoustic gigs, and we are now focusing on playing out of town in Sacramento, San Francisco, and Las Vegas. We all have the dream to become big touring rock star types, mostly because we all hate our jobs. Oh, and we love to play music too!

Group Members Paul Goddard - Lead singer, lead guitar, and primary song writer. Paul is a very spiritual person. His songwriting reflects this side of his personality. Dan Bishop - A.K.A. "Violent Dan" Bass Guitar, back up vocals. Dan is the no nonsense driving force, ass chewer. If DWS had an engine, they would call it Dan. Nich Maus - Drummer, wise ass. Nich is the foundation. A cracked, sinking foundation, but a foundation none the less. About the most laid back individual any of us knows. Nick Salvatore - Rhythm Guitarist. A.K.A. Nick #2, N.A.R.S., Nack. Has superior playing ability, and sems to understand P-time. Is the most likely person in the band to be struck by lightning due to his piercings.
