Artist History
Online with MP3.com since 08/01. DJDM, (aka Lance Hayes), bought his first keyboard, (a Juno 106), when he was 12. Since then his studio, Hell's Gate, has gone from analog tech to digi tech. The current configuration is computer based with Reason, (triggered by a D-50), and Cubase being his primary instruments. But you will find his Super Jupiter and that old 106 along with a Sequential Six Track and a DX7 used in many of his tracks. |

Press Reviews
From MP3.com's "Hot Artist Of The Month" for 08/02:
Dropping beats from the northern city of Seattle, DJ Drunken Master is a one-man army. DJDM has been described as "one of those slap happy, funky, pre-apocalyptic, chop-saki chuckle heads...." We'll let his music speak for him instead. "Rip It Up, Tear It Down" is more of an EP than an album. Its shortness, however, is made up for with his slick production skills.
The title track "Rip It Up, Tear It Down - Final Mix" combines funk and hard house with groove-heavy bass lines, but his most amazing track is "Selena" (by far, the best track). "Selena" bathes you in lushly rich melodies and dense beats. This is one album to add to your collection!
