Artist History At the age of 14 years a friend of my sisters came to me and said: you like music? I said: 'yeah, I like music'. He gave me Fasttracker 2.06. I started making music immediately. My first productions were hardcore songs. After a while I got internet and published my first songs on the internet. I believe it was on a internet label called: Boumboumclap Records. Anyway, then I found out about Traxinspace.com. I published my first trance / ambient songs there. I got in contact with more and more people. The music got better as well. During this period I got a lot of help from Fredrik Strålberg, a swedish musician. Hereby I want to thank him. Fredrik and I made several songs together like: Break the Silence & Beyond the Mind. Some other song I made back then were: 'Futurity Justice, The Light of The Sun, And you Don't Stop, The Dj is Here.' After this period I gained contact with Niek Fikkert (Trancemaster). He showed me how to make a decent trance song. Together we made: Trip to Fantasia. This song won the ultimate mod compo back then. Another musician that helped me a lot was DaRhythmFreak. I made: 'Illumination' together with him, some say it's my best song (untill A-lusion came of course). Another very important thing which happened was the foundation of AttalantA Music. I started this group together with The Deekay (7dh Records). My music simply didn't forfill the needs to grow with this band. After sending some demo cds out and recieving rejections back, we decided to quit AttalantA Music. Some songs of this period were: 'Fly Above the City, The Beat Kicks to Da Rhythm, TranSation, Trance Elements, Strings From Earth (part 1 + 2), Eternity is Past, Full of Hope & When it Flies, let it fly'. I wasn't really satisfied with ft2.08, which I use for these songs, so I tried modplugtracker & buzz tracker, but ended up at madtracker. A whole new world opened for me. The music improved again, especially the quality. This period recently came to an end, with the new handle and the new music. Songs like:'Innocent Movements, Magic Melodies, Obseqious, Autumn Colors (String Remix) Maximum dB, Nowhere, Feelings 4 U, Techtronica, Angelic Voices, Waves of Emotion, Detonate & Disc Crasher' are still downloadable in the music section and at http://www.mp3.com/djonnew. At this point I decided to change my handle: I first wanted to use: Allusion, but some rock band at mp3.com had already taken this name, so I changed it to A-lusion. I would like to thank: The Deekay, Vega (TbO&Vega) & Sonic Range for the last 6 months. Let's see what the future brings us!
