Artist description
1261 was the name of an audiovisual project that I (Michael Inger) shared with my close friend, Andrew Shepherd. However, our tastes and goals in music and art have diverged to a large extent, and the project is no longer active as a collaboration. I now work alone under the names Tescon Pol and Visceral Surveillance. Tracks from both of these projects are available on this page. In fact, the bulk of these tracks belong to Tescon Pol and VS. Only four were actually produced by 1261, as it existed initially.
Tescon Pol focuses most heavily on sound manipulation, and has been entirely instrumental, to date. Visceral Surveillance is more geared toward creating a dynamic effect, or a sense of power. Roughly 35 percent of the Visceral Surveillance tracks that I've recorded thus far contain vocals. |

e1261 was initially founded as Project Gunrunner in mid to late 1999. Unfortunately, the project is no longer active. See above, if you would be so kind... |
