Artist History
I grew up listening to Country Music. My folks played music every Saturday night, many times all night long.
Hank Williams, Hank Snow, Johnny Cash, Faron Young, Merle Haggard, just to name a few. I learned to play the
guitar when I was 5 yrs old. I loved to sing and would sing anywhere, anytime in front of anybody. Sang and
played my guitar in Church, took my guitar with me to school, played and sang. In 4th grade I entered in a
school talent contest where I played and sang Folsom Prison Blues and WON! Later after High School I briefly
joined a band "Family Tradition". But the bar scene just wasn't for me. I joined a Gospel Quartet and sang
Tenor. Since then I've mainly been practicing, singing in churches, singing in the shower (haha). Music is a
HUGE part of my life. Oh, and during the last 8 years I've been developing my writing skills as well. |
