Artist description
franki veneé is the real thing. as a performer, she exudes powerful sexuality and sensitivity that quickly captivates anyone with a pulse.
as a vocalist, franki is refreshingly honest and pure in a world where vocal gymnastics often appear to exist for their own sake. she has emerged from her formative and often trying years in detroit inner city culture as a truly universal soul who refuses to be confined by preordained cultural distinctions. |

Artist History
franki comes from a rich musical background and has been singing most of her life. She is exceptionally versatile. Her vocal style ranges from the understated clarity and deceptive innocence of 60's cross-over vocalists such as Ronnie Spector, the sensuousness of Sade, the soulfulness of R&B vocalists such as Tina Marie and the individuality of modern rock vocalists. Over the past few years, she primarily has performed and recorded r&b and hip hop material and has worked with many local detroit producers and artists. She also has worked with national producers such as Kern Brantley (Mary J. Blige, R. Kelly) and Joe LoDuca (Hercules, Zena). |
