Artist History ‘What’s that funky shit he be playin’? You may be asking yourself if you happen to catch a whiff of a DJ Sam Tripp mix. Tripp has been mixing and producing for close to 3 years, trying to bring real house music back into the Los Angeles and World scene. Sam learned his mixing techniques from the great DJ Weapon-X, surprisingly enough he learned to DJ by mixing dark jungle! Many have a hard time accepting that DJ Sam Tripp is also one of the founding members ( A.K.A-DJ Spider) of the Dark Side Klan, one of the most hard core drum and bass crews ever to have walked the planet. Aside from weekly outings and the like Tripp also has his own radio show on Urbanmafia.com radio, and had just ended a residency at the House Of Blues. Expect a 4-track vinyl release from Sam Tripp within the next few months on the Urban Mafia label and many more thumping mix CD’s.
