Artist description
digisphere: ethereal and gothic, inspiring and heroic, an atmosphere of digital music creating a world of its own. I compose all of my works through computer-based technology: MIDI, sequencing, Cakewalk, Finale, etc. What I stress is the music, not dictated by the limits of digital technology. I utilize these tools because they are easliy acessible, especially when I have a crazy idea at 3 a.m. Ultimately I would love to have the aid of real musicians, orchestras, singers and so forth. At this stage of my life-long pursuit with music, I am taking advantage of what I have and strive to gain better access to the wonderful talent and skills of other musicians. I have high hopes and patience for what is yet to come. |

Artist History
Began as a composer early in life. I started with a piano, later electronic keyboards for kids. Wrote themes for my neighborhood club and began experimenting with tape recorders and other gadgets. I had tremendous musical support from Hastings Public Schools in Nebraska. From Elementary to High School, I really grew and matured as a musician, a singer, a saxophonist, and as a composer. I seriously began composing when I bought my Yamaha SY35 Synthesizer Keyboard in 1994. Later I bought Finale and more gear as the money slowly came. Many times, I would put my Christmas gift money towards a piece here and there. Its an ever-growing process that I'll never be fully satisfied with. At Hastings College, I majored in Music and Theatre and was invloved in just about everything from Saxophone Quintet to Music Theatre
Ensemble. I studied with Dr. Donald Freed for my composition lessons and built a library of songs and scores during that time. Two of my works won state and regional contests, and even placed nationally. Another work, "Visit With An Angel" toured Japan with the Hastings College Choir where it was warmly received. Recently I have been living in Los Angeles and am composing and promoting more than ever. Mp3.com has been a great aid
in this outreach of my music. More works will always be added and changed as I am always trying to improve my art. Music is a very sacred part of my life and will always be of the utmost importance to me. |
