Artist History Bandleader Catfish John Tisdell is a musician now living on Maui. He's done many tours across the country as a solo artist and with various different bands ranging from blues and rock to country. During his music career Catfish John has performed at concerts, coffeehouses, festivals, nightclubs, and he was even a street musician. He hosted and performed on his own radio show for many years and is currently broadcasting 24 hours a day on his internet radio station "Catfish John and Friends" at "Live365.com". Catfish runs a private music studio called Koa Music and Recording where he teaches music lessons and records local musicians. John has recorded over a dozen CD's with the help of his friends and is the author of a guitar instructional manual and a book of song lyrics and poetry. He is also an avid windsurfer, so when he's not playing music he's probably out jumping waves.
