Artist description A semi-solo project, similar in effect to NIN. Avir has much experience in the Philly/Jersey music scene, but broke off to persue more experimental, electronic and Indian music. Asian music is extremely popular in all music genres today, but there is an incredible lack of Asian American musicians. This leaves a huge niche open... Recorded 100% on a computer, and using a laptop live (in addition to guitar, drums, etc), this project is able to explore completely new soundscapes and ideas (i.e. sampling the audience during a live set). Combining this experimentalism with the Asian vibe and good, concise songwriting this music is worth another listen.
