Artist History
__ ar:as
begining in 1998 as ambient/industrial outfit, AinOKTAVE9,
a cassette only demo was produced and distributed in a
very limited quantity to friends. after moving to rochester,
new york, jeremy began working on a new body of material
producing nearly 3 cds worth of music as co/dev.space
(all of which was never released). now attending RIT's graphic
design programme, jeremy has encountered a number of
individuals with similar interests. one of which is rob kukuchka
(aka the 8 bit deity) with whom jeremy founded the gaussian
surface project. this project yeilding the full length disc
"slanting waves of optic horror" as well as third member,
guitarist matt lamb (aka minus 1). from there the threesome
played dozens of shows in the rochester and buffalo area within
a one year period. after one infamous show a new project was
spawned, Diana Behlke (brain child of GSP members minus 1
and co/dev.space) this project has been rather prolific the past
few months playing out a few times in both rochester and buffalo
and recording a full length album, a live disc and beginning work
on an upcoming 3 disc set. operating simultaneously, jeremy's
solo efforts as Moth quickly grew to encompass enough material
for his first disc "the silver lines of soft beginnings". jeremy
continues to produce solo material, including 2 tracks that will
appear on an upcoming compilation from INVISIBLE records.
jeremy will return to the GSP studio to record a winter themed
disc with the 8 bit deity. work on that will be beginning just
as the first GSP album will be getting ready to be released
on the rochester based DYSGENIC RECORDS. |
