Artist History
I was bitten by the music when I was about 9 years old. I built a keyboard and guitar out of cardboard. Add shades and I was a rock prodigy! I grew up playing both guitar, bass, and composing in many bands inspired by 80's new wave and goth, shoegazer bands of the 90's and a bit of hard alternative rock. I felt the need to let the world hear the music in my head. |

Press Reviews
Who said nothing cool ever came out of connecticut? Adam Lippman, who has had group/band efforts appear on a couple of indie flick soundtracks, offers a solo demo here that gets our attention immediately with vaguely catchy songs delivered in an edgy, lo-fi framework. Not unlike Robyn Hitchcock or Joesph Arthur's trippy, experimental art-pop, Lippman's music (especially "Maybe," with its luxurious synth textures) shows him to be am artist who has the goods and should continue to develop his uniqueness. |
