Pop-punk, 4 piece, SoCal band. UNWyND has a unique sound that can't really be placed
in a category. The lyrics, melody, and talent just
speaks for itself, putting them in a category of
their own. |

Artist History
Back in 96 is when we first started. We had Mark
on vocals/guitar, Poot on back up vocals/lead
guitar, Dean Ellincolin on bass, and Ulrick
Baptist on drums. Shortly there after Dave
Cummings joined the band without any real
instrument - just a small ukelele - and was
moved to bass when Dean graduated high school.
For a year and a half we played and practiced as
a band covering songs by the Beatles and Weezer.
In '97 we started jamming with other bands, like
the Whiz Kids. Where we met our future drummer
Ray Soriano. Later, we pretty much ended up
letting go of Rick for lack of dedication. Ray
became our drummer thereafter.
We started out playing birthday parties and
shows at local high schools. (Morse's '97-'98
Mulicultural Fair, Sweetwater High's '97-'98
Talent Show, and Chula Vista High's '98-'99
Culture Night/Talent Show.) After a few more years
of hardwork, scroungind around, and practice ... we
got to play clubs and venues. That's pretty much about it.
