    Artist description
We used to be called Unarmed and Dangerous, but now we're writing good music so we changed it. The story of the band is a long and complicated one involving many complex factors, but what it comes down to is that we're all idealists. We write songs mainly about relationships, but all kinds of relationships. Songs about relationships with friends, girlfriends, people we don't even like. I don't like comparing our band to other bands, which is why there is nothing in the "what bands do you sound like" entry. Listen for yourself.

    Artist History
It's a fairy tale. It all started back in some year. It was about 4 years back. We had an idea for a band called "cheese" which was lame. Anyways, none of us knew how to play instruments so we started playing them. Our original lineup had ian on bass, paul on guitars, iain on vocals, and iain's unnamed brother on drums. The band then gained the name "frogs in the moonlight," which we decided sucked, but Iain still likes it for some reason (loser.) We then named our band Some Assembly Required, which was cool. Devil on my Shoulder was written about this time, really the only good song to come out of this era. We realised Iain's brother wasn't great at drums so we kicked him out. About this time, Iain decided to go to Austrailia, and in the meantime Ian began talking to Jaques, whose former band, Liquid Shadow, had just broken up. Jaques proved to be a great addition to the band, as he was not only a good drummer, but was also a great lyric writer. About this time it was decided that we should add Kyle as a lead guitarist. After Iain got back, we found out that there was another band called Some Assembly Required, so we changed the name to our current one (thought up by ian,) Unarmed and Dangerous. Then we changed that to ...and he prevails. We like it Then in the summer of 2001, kyle went somewhere...i'm not sure where, and now hes pretty much out of the band. We went into the studio a little later and recorded six songs that will soon be found on our "what happens from here" EP. Phew, that was long. And they lived happily ever after. lllaaattteee....
