Artist History Well, one boring night in December, Matt, Mike, Ben, and a bunch of friends drove through a blinding snowstorm like a swarm of lemmings to see some band play somewhere out in the middle of nowhere. This was a task which required the vehemence of a group of teenege males (and females) intent on doing something for no good reason, and a few donuts in the middle of the deserted highway. The opening band really stank, so Matt, Mike, and Ben (who had never really "hung out" with each other before) said, "Dude, we should start a band, because we could be so much better than this." So, after the show, they drove all the way back to Ben's barn and started jamming on a crappy junior drum set, a guitar with 4 strings, and a broken bass. Subtle Hysteria was born. They got better and better, their equipment got better and better, and finally they recruited Laura to complete their sound. That is all now ancient history- someday to be transformed from this paltry blurb into an epic novel. A tale of rising up from the muddy sludge to become the gifted musical unit at your service.
