Artist History My sound is made up of (mostly) original sounds (usually heavily distorted) and loops, mixed with other elements and samples. Not too many real instruments used here. Silent Hog is an experimental project. I consider myself creative.

Eric Penington (B): "Oh, yes...definitely. I think, within five to ten years, I will really start to create some outstanding work. Right now, I'm in an experimental phase - I mean one is always in an experimental phase...but right now I'm trying whatever I can get my hands on - my style in emerging, but still developing...just remind me to take a figure drawing class soon" Eric Penington (A): "yeah, I've always wanted to take one of those classes, but I never had an opportunity - as the school that I went to didn't offer anything of the sort." Eric Penington (B): "Exactly the same situation for me, man." Eric Penington (A): "Did I ever tell you...that Silent Hog project is a load of crap?" Eric Penington (B): "Crap? You were the main contributor!" Eric Penington (A): "I know...I was just kidding around. Silent Hog is quite unique - unlike anthing out there in today's music world." Eric Penington (B): "It's a statement for the world of music to look at - I mean, a lot of this project IS crap, but look at most pop music...is that not worse?" Eric Penington (A): "Oh, totally...these pop stars have their lyrics written by someone else, and the lyrics are second grade level. I guess that's what apeals to America." Eric Penington (B): "Yes...very sad. Maybe if I prayed, the shitty music would all go away?" Eric Penington (A): "I tried that once" Eric Penington (B): "What Happened?" Eric Penington (A): "Didn't work...and I think it actually hindered...because the situation is getting worse." Eric Penington (B): "I know, but Silent Hog will cleanse the earth." Eric Penington (A): "Definitely...you really put out great work. Thanks for letting me interview you about this special project. Say hi to The Silent Hog for me." Eric Penington (B): "Sure thing...later, man"
