Artist History
Born:
1967 Paris Texas. Moved to Albuquerque, NM at the age of 3. Left New Mexico for Dallas in January of 1995.
Family:
Married many years to wife and inspiration Laura Wallace.
Has one son, Cameron Kyle the love of his life.
Son of Shirley and Vernon Wallace,
one sister, Donna Wallace, one niece, Sydnee Ann Brooks. Plus Bailey his Chow, can’t forget her.
Musical
History:
Self taught musician. Began playing piano at 8 and Bass guitar at age 9. Picked up several different instruments over the years including guitar and drums. Vernon sang in his church choir for several years before becoming infected with the funk bug in the mid seventies. He studied classical piano at New Mexico State University for two years and played and toured with numerous successful bands including Redneck, now called Rambler, Delta Rain, EZN, Jade and Funky Brewster to name a few. Funky Brewster was the first unsigned band ever to secure the number one spot nationally on Z-Rock for 2 consecutive weeks with the singles “What the Funk” and “Black Sheep” from their debut album “Follow the Noise.” Vernon now spends the majority of his time producing and writing.

Owner and operator of HGP Entertainment Group a publishing and production company and “HuggaDan” studios, a project studio located in Dallas, TX.
Goal:
To utilize my musical talents as a songwriter and composer and use my years of production skills to develop and mentor new artist.
