Artist description
Unitus was created as an 'escape' from the synth pop
leaning of much contemporary 'industrial' music. Rather than
cathcy electronic hooks and dance oriented beats, Unitus focuses
on brutal minimalist structure and oppressive sound textures. |

Artist History
Originally formed as Black H3ll1k0pt3r (still operational) in 1996
Unitus was a reaction to the 'disco synth' industrial that
has recently become prevalent in the 'industrial' community. Initially
Unitus was a private 'experiment', however early results were so
promising that the experiment was turned into a full fledged project. |

Press Reviews
"picture throwing your headphones on and
taking a foot tour through wastelands of ghetto
apocalypse, broken buildings, vast nothingness, no
future - this is what comes to mind when checking
out UNITUS' stuff, it's by no means 'life affirming'... "
