Press Reviews
"Human Obliteration" the new CD from Shredded Corpse contains 8 new songs of pure hatred toward mankind. It also contains old demo tracks from Death Brings Erection, also the entire Ejaculate On The Soul demo, and never released Vomit demo, and some songs off old Dead demo. Over 73 minutes of new to old school Shredded Corpse. People who have followed Shredded Corpse through the years this CD is for you.
70 minutes of Shredded Corpse's musical history are contained in this C.D. to the delight of their fans. Old demos, unreleased demos, and previously compilatory appearing songs are included as bonus tracks. All the stuff recorded by the band from 92 to 98 is here. The fast 8 tracks make up the new C.D. "Human Obliteration". Grind Death with melodic segments, and Slayer Thrash riffs.
Track #5 "Eternal torture" is very melodic Garden of shadows type. It combines technical brutality. Other tracks sound like modern Thrash and Death. Vocals remain guttural through the musical variations. The first 4 tracks are faster, and blunter than the other four. These have more melodic, modern rhythms..

SHREDDED CORPSE
Human Obliteration
CD
Review by: Brad
This is totally raging death metal with a classic vibe permeating the
whole thing. Raw and straight forward, SHREDDED CORPSE don't mess
around with their music by trying to bring in other musical
influences. This is death metal for fans of death metal. No
apologies, no wimping out, no getting lost in experimentation. "Human
Obliteration" contains 8 new songs by the band described as "pure
hatred toward mankind" by another reviewer. It also has tracks from
the "Death Brings Erection" demo as well as other demos one of which
was apparently never released before. My only complaint is that the
bonus tunes (there is more bonus than new tunes) are all contained in
one track so you can't skip around you gotta plow straight through
the whole thing. It does give a pretty good idea of where this band
has come from and where they are going. Total you get over 70
minutes of metal frenzy so you know this is a good deal for $10!
