Artist description
Out of the Boston music scene comes one of the most exciting rock bands to land in your hands. Mappari is a songwriter’s rock band that avoids the traps of trends and maintains an ever-growing prolific arsenal of material. Rock and roll is their weapon of choice and their adoring fans are their muses. The fan base has been exponentially growing since their first and sold out show in 1999. Their loyal street team ranges from Pontal, Brazil to Victoria, British Columbia.
Mappari’s name is derived from a geographical word that means "where sound never dies”. Their ambitious music is hard to pin down, though something you’ve been yearning to hear for some time. With commingling harmonies and punchy rhythmic-backbones, the songs jump into focus. It is music that is defined by its differences in a time when our differences need to be protected and cherished. Mappari awakes the ghost of hard rock with unyielding vigor;
they navigate the soundscapes of pop with ease and mastery and are soaked in the foundations of the great rock and roll from our past. Taking the best lessons from industry radicals like Fugazi, Pearl Jam and Radiohead as much as they do from pop-rock pros like Weezer, Police and Jimmy Eat World.

Press Reviews
“Frontman Will Dailey, nominated last year for a Boston Music Award for ‘Best Male Vocalist’ is a true pro and is outstanding from start to finish. With catchy tunes like ‘Glue’ and ‘Together,’ Mappari may be the next music for the masses.”
