Artist History
Hanoi Chevrolet was formed during the pre-pubescent freshman year of high school in which kids with an urge to create music got together to make noise at a friends house. Usually a gathering of this sort consisted of a good Drummer who lets people take advatage of him, a guitarist who's afraid to sing but enjoys the security of playing the drums in a mediocre sort of way, a bassist who's amazing at whatever he does but is too old to be hanging out with teenagers anyway, two guitarists that aren't very good at what they do, but enjoy the bottom three strings of a drop D orientation, a kid who really can't do anything but annoy everyone, and together this group would knock off something passable as music. Somehow from situations such as these the small and tidy threesome of a group called Hanoi Chevrolet formed. Now in the post-pubescent pre-college stage, the band still knocks off passable little numbers but is much more successful at doing so. |
