    Artist description
With over 25 years of performance, writing and recording experience Michael Corsaro is one of the Philadelphia area's premier guitarists. Michael’s musical influences are varied as he travels from rock guitar to easy listening jazz, fusion and blues. In addition to writing, recording and performing his own style of instrumental guitar music, Michael enjoys conducting guitar clinics and private tutorial lessons within the Philadelphia area. Throughout his career, he has received critical acclaim for his guitar playing ability and still performs and records in the Philadelphia and surrounding area. In 2001, Michael had teamed up with Steve Urglavitch and Rick O'Connell, two of Philadelphia's most sought-after session players, to form the all instrumental group, “G-FORCE”. The combination of Michael Corsaro's writing skills and Steve Urglavitch's arranging abilities complemented Rick O'connell's hard driving blues and classical backround to form a new and unique guitar-driven, instrumental sound. G-FORCE consists of guitar, bass, drums and keyboards and is known to play a wide variety of rock, jazz, contemporary and blues type music. With rock anthems like “L’il Diddy” and “Swept Away” as well as the tasty ballad entitled “Miracles”, it is easy to see why G-FORCE is becoming one of the area’s first all instrumental attractions. In addition to performing their own style of music, G-FORCE also performs an entire show dedicated to the legendary Grammy award wining guitarist "Joe Satriani." While performing some of "Satriani's" best music, it is easy to hear the true dedication to musical detail and instrumentation.

    Press Reviews
"...you'll hear squalling riffs, biting licks, fiery wah-wah mantras, and searing solos that light up the CD like a flare gun after a power outage." - Guitar Nine Records Click here to see the complete review! "Look out for G-Force, a totally cool all original guitar instrumental band on the lines of Satriani." - Lynn Ramage, Out On The Town Magazine "You're gonna be hearing a lot from this band. This is what you call straight ahead powerful rock-n-roll at it's finest." - Mike Vagnoni, Pipeline Original Radio Show "G-FORCE is a band formed around guitarist Michael Corsaro from Philadelphia, who has been writing and recording the past 25 years. G-FORCE is his band, and they play instrumental Hard Rock, with influences from the Blues, 70s Rock, 80s Hard Rock and Progressive Rock, all together mixing it up and sounding like G-FORCE! There are still clear comparisons to instrumental artists like STEVE VAI and JOE SATRIANI, but in general G-FORCE has created an own melodic rockin' style. The best songs are the melodic rocker "Stronger then before", the progressive rocker "Swept away", the straight-ahead Hardrocksong "Freeway" and the semi-ballad "Miracles". There's also some Boogie Hardrock and some Blues tingled tunes, but mainly G-FORCE is a pure instrumental Hard Rockband. Do not confuse them with Gary Moore's early 80s Poprockband! (Points: 8.0 out of 10)" - Gabor Kleinbloesem, Strutter'zine Editor
