Artist History Born August 22, 1949. Raised by his father, a Chicago bar owner, his life began early. He started his passion for playing music in his father's bar at an early ten years of age. From there it only grew. After being discharged from the service, the traveling and gathering began. Hitch-hiking, walking, and even hopping a few freight trains, C.J. began his journey of story telling that is unique, yet warmly familiar. His songs, influenced by Gordon Lightfoot, Jim Croce, and John Denver's earlier works, deliver acoustically sound music. Having left the mountains of Santa Cruz to bring his music to a wider audience, C.J. now lives in the heart of San Francisco with his wife Linda. So sit back, sip some brew, and enjoy the magic.
