With members from L.A. to Kingston, Jamaica, each player lends a different influence to give the band its crossover sound. Artist History Formed in 1988, Urban Dread has achieved household name status in the greater Los Angeles area by playing over 250 shows per year. This band has survived several member changes as well as the death of two crucial beloved players. However, Urban Dread continues to gain steam and confidence with the best line-up to date.
