Artist description
Spleen Dingo is a rock-your-tits-off quartet from Denver, Colorado. Their catchy melodic anthems cover such controversial subjects as fat chicks in bars, self love and call girls for the 2002 summit on world affairs. Even when you're not listening to the CDs (available here on DAM), you'll be singing such Dingo classics as Touch Me Where I Pee, I'm Not Going To Jail Today, PornStar, Just A Dog, and Library Mary. |

Artist History
Formed in a basement sometime in the last Millenium, Spleen Dingo has moved from a Natural Light drinking group of ex-college all stars to a group of Natural Light drinking ex-college all stars that truly believes they might still have what it takes to hook up with Elle McPhearson. Their live show is a hilarious, toe-tapping experience that gets better by the beer. So crack open the closest alcoholic beverage, put the Dingo on your home stereo and sit back to enjoy the melodies. |

Press Reviews
David Barber writes: "[F]or those bold enough to play their balls off. Spleen Dingo was up to the challenge. They sport a standard 2 guitars, bass, and drums lineup with several members contributing vocals. The musical style was poppy, catchy and fun. The lyrics, though, made the act. "Downloading Porn From the Internet" was the first real attention grabber, but pretty tame compared with "Touch me Where I Pee," a song about doing drugs to the tune of "Puff the Magic Dragon," and the poignant "There’s only one river… it leads from me to the toilet seat." They climaxed, so to speak, with the raucous "I like your tricks OK, but I love your pussy better." Spleen Dingo, is hilarious, funny and cool. They can get away with their colorful lyrics because they don’t skimp on the musical talent. Change the lyrics to something politically correct and they’d still sound good, they just wouldn’t be as much fun. Written by David Barber!! Thanks to Tommy Nahulu: Please visit their web site: Local Music Network of Patrons" LocalBraodcast.net writes "Not a band your grandmother would like (or maybe she would ::smile;::) This band plays with a lot of energy and sings wild (some think porno) lyrics. They are exceptional performers that really get the dance crowd on their feet." |
