Some tracks have vocals which are vocoded or processed. The melange style draws on various sources including some of the more adventurous current electronic music makers as well as past progenitors of electronic music from Skinny Puppy to Eno to Kraftwerk.Within this mixture, melange is forging their own unique sound.

Artist History Melange has a history of evolving. Atom, at the core of the band has worked on other projects mostly in the industrial vein for several years and has expanded into new territories while focusing on melange in the last two years. Bringing their sound in a more technologically experimental direction as of late, he has as also taken over the role of vocalist in the last year and a half.In addition to songwriting, Atom is responsible for creating all the sounds of Melange.Melange can also be heard playing live with two to three additional members in the band and an elaborate multimedia show.In addition, Atom is also a visual artist who might be drawing or doing digital art that's intertwined with his music.
