Artist description
A pensive, almost resigned outlook give Ken Francis' songs an authenticity that has earnt him a modest following. Although melancholy pervades much of his music, there is certain hope engrained in his works.. Much of the issues tackled are real elements we have all faced; loneliness, resignation, loss, triumph, enlightenment. Hence his music is accessible but in a very human way. There is an intimate quality about the work; Listening to his pieces is being granted a glimpse into his personal journey of self-discovery and understanding. As the artist remarks, "My music is one long exhalation, each songs is a portion of one somewhat futile attempt at understanding my self and this world." Often his music enables us to find some meaning of our own. |

"Truly an artist, unafraid to look life in the eye.""His music is so sad and yet so very beautiful. Tragic and hopeful all in one breath.""How this boy can transform pain into such positive art astounds me. I can't wait for more." |
