Artist History Born in Haiti,W.I.Started to sing as a child under the name *Amie de Dalida*(Friend of Dalida).Entered several radio contests and won 1st prize. After getting married,she released an album in New york (1980)for the haitian community inspired by the great refugee problem of that time. The lead song of that album quickly became an Icon for the refugee situation on radio and television both in Haitiand the haitian communities abroad.After becomming a Born-again christian in 1980 she incorporated gospel and contemporary christian music to her repertoire and currently sings in churches in the So.California area.She is currently working on a new repertoire which she hopes to release soon.
