NOT A LIVE LAPTOP performer, either- but a live keyboardist. one of the few acts to perform live electronica, charlie (backed up live and in the studio by paul rueger, a partnership since 1987) plays as many live parts as the keyboards will allow. the body of work, spanning three albums (the most recent "symbiosis" is now split between two albums, now available on line) since 1999. and each piece of work has been met with killer reviews, from mp3.com, to outburn magazine herself, to comparisons from metropolis to haujobb. genre is also mixed, as this project is an ongoing exploration of sound texture and melodic progression. the result: the marriage of the tectonic of sound and dark themes, on the framework of dark trance, house, and as of late, a hybrid of the aforementioned with breakbeat moves. altogether, on CD or at the live shows (beginning again late summer), UNDENIABLY DARK, STOMPING YOUR FEET, MOVING YOUR ASS... cheers to paul rueger and fire project, daniel meier, midwest after dark, 14 crew, morphic/44/temple crews, DFA crew, LPA crew, and love to liza...

Artist History (UPDATED 1 november 2003): started as the electro group "ennithing" in 1987. various other vocal projects lead the group to continue writing into the 90's, through school, university, etc. late 1999 saw the transformation from vocal to all instrumental dark techno, fused with breakbeat and industrial moves. rave play began in 1999, and the band, charlie an and paul rueger changed the band moniker to "form". the album "dymaxion" was met with great reviews and frequent download, as well as play on 97x and in clubs around the country. 2001 saw the release independent release from metropolis of "symbiosis", which was rated as 4/5 from outburn magazine in 2001. support of the album, as well as some cd singles brought great support of the album, now available as two separate cd's from mp3.com. supporting the music live saw form playing with the likes of dj?acucrack out of chicago in 2001, and most recently with haujobb in 2002. corporate marketing writing for form on several projects, as well as remix work in 2002 finished off the year mainly as studio work (www.designforum.com front page music). 2003 will see the release of a few samples from recent new york sessions, and finalization of forthcoming CD "maximizor" for spring release 2004. and form will go on.
