Artist History Born and raised in West Michigan, Drew Nelson has always had the bug to travel. As soon as he completed school, he was quick to feed his need to hit the road. With his acoustic guitar as his sidekick, he traveled through Spain, France, Turkey, Egypt, Greece, Israel as well as most of the U.S. meeting people and studying there ways of life. He became a social sponge finding his nomadic lifestyle to be a great muse in his songwriting. After a 15-date pub tour through Ireland in April 1999, Drew Nelson returned to the U.S. and is currently performing regularly as a solo artist and occasionally as the leader of his own band.
