Artist History
For four decades, Chuck has been one of contemporary Jazz's
most influential artists. He began his professional career in the 60s
with his older brother Gap in the Jazz Brothers. After assuming Art
Blakey and The Jazz Messengers' coveted trumpet chair, Chuck
went on to reach multi-platinum success in the late 70s with
worldwide hits like "Feel So Good" and "Children Of Sanchez." In the 80s Chuck continued to record and tour. After a brief hiatus in the 90s, Chuck has re-emerged with "The Feeling's Back," the highly-anticipated new album on Chesky Records, Chuck can also be "seen" on the hit TV show "King Of The Hill" on which he plays the celebrity spokesperson for Mega-Lo-Mart. |
