Artist description
Bill MacKechnie (of ANUBIS SPIRE fame) has written, recorded and contributed his guitarwork to countless musical projects over the years. These long lost DEMOS run the gamut from simple songwriters sketches recorded with little more than a guitar and a cassette recorder to full band treatments and unfinished masters. From country rock to the warped musical melting pot of THE DEPRESSION BROTHERS, these demos show the evolution of an artist looking for that unique voice. Though these were never meant for release, we here at RANDOM BULLET RECORDS believe the material here shouldn't just sit in the vault. It offers a wealth of interesting pop, rock, blues and guitar-rock gems that might even give ANUBIS SPIRE fans a surprise or two (just listen to "The long overdue redemption of sister Simms", SOUND FAMILIAR? It was recorded in 1987!) Though these are merely demos, who knows? You just might find something to like! We sure did!--KATHY STEWART A&R RANDOM BULLET RECORDS |
