Artist History When five young high school boys got together to play Mr. Bungle covers,they never knew what lay ahead of them. Formed in 1993 under the name Uncle Meat (a Zappa creation),their vision was to create music that transcended categorization, and to never, ever, take themselvestoo seriously. The result has been, and will continue to be, a brand of music that treats any style as fair game(often within a single song); a technique adopted from listening to lots of Zappa, Zorn, Mr. Bungle, and FNM.Now, after years of lineup changes, false starts, and tons of goofing around, they are still essentially thesame group of fun-lovin', Jolt-guzzlin', meat-eatin' boys that the parents hate and the kids love:Beefcake Messiah!!! Sadly (or maybe not so sadly), BM has called it quits. Please feel free to download our songs since we still appreciate it, but there will not be any new Beefcake material on MP3.com any time soon.
