Artist History
After a number of bands that achieved limited success throughout the late 1990s,
Larry Koestler, Andy Bailyn, and Craig Koestler managed to come together to form
Welcome, the new band from New York City that is ready to conquer the world.
Larry and Andy had played together in a group called Drunken Goldfish for much of
their high school careers, afterwards they went on to separate projects, most
notably Larry's band from his senior year of high school, Skippy & Me.
After Larry departed to college, he had less opportunities to play guitar, but
always jammed with his brother when he returned home. This enabled Larry to break
through his crippling writer's block, and craft a number of astoundingly catchy, solid tunes.
The trio got together in late July, rehearsed in their old practice studios every day for
two weeks, and flew into the studio to record their groundbreaking four-song demo. Now Welcome
are ready to tour and steal the collective hearts of New York City's female population. |
