    Artist description
Triple X Antioxidant are the twin desecration artists from Boston, MA. Their individual minds think ambient and black metal. Collectively, they threaten your sanity with their sound. Complex drone structures, vocal theatrics (not of the sucky kind), and smartly placed found sound take you on a 20-minute journey riding the edge...When you think something is going to happen, the opposite probably does, and it's good for you!Triple X Antioxidant's debut EP is entirely available for download here! On the upside please email us if you do download the entire thing, and what you think, etc.

    Artist History
Triple X Antioxidant consist of Ho & Measly Antioxidant. They are both 22, and want to give you a lifetime supply of pizza (and if you think this is serious, just you wait until you ask for that lifetime supply, and then you realize about 6 months later that it's not going to happen, sorry) ;) Started recording music together when they realized that their sense of humor could really be stretched with sound...

    Press Reviews
Let me start this off by saying I'm afraid of what these people are doing to themselves. I mean, just look at the cover: On the front, two dogs killing each other. On the back, a montage of drunk adults and a lady's head floating in the sky. Song titles like "New Foil (New Coals)", "11:11" and the ever lovely, simple "Die Cody Die" (whoever Cody is he must be shitting his pants judging from how TXA recorded this track). The band themselves preach use of antioxidants, cereal, pizza, and buddy green antimotivationals. Lucky for TXA, the buddy green antimotivationals have no negative effect on them, for this CD is a top-notch hell ride. The band describes this as "the most disturbing music you will ever hear." Not the MOST, but damn close. Triple X Antioxidant prefer to use noise, samples, moody ambience (and some of the harshest vocals I've ever heard in my life) to create a 6 track journey that will not leave you the same after you hear it. Each track is carefully composed and everything just seems perfectly timed...for example the track "New Foil (New Coals"...there's a section in this where there is the most disturbing ambience and obscene fuckin' vocal sounds..then all of a sudden it cuts to Sharon, Lois and Bram rapping about their favorite foods (with a voice over giving brief disapproval)..then when you think that's enough to drive you insane, some weird ass demon starts telling something about a murder scene and other lovely events and once the track is over, you MUST hear it again. You MUST! But don't think this is the only gem: You will expose yourself to multiple listens of this CD, either by a track 20 times at a time, or frequent full plays. TXA set the bait and reel you in over and over again successfully. And a little (or a lot) of buddy green antimotivationals won't hurt either. -- Metal Heart Magazine
