Artist History
That Guy began in the summer of "98 when Chris, a struggling art student,
sought out his
long time friend Tut to complete a handful of original songs. JimSphere
rounded out the line-up
and That Guy hit the Fort Wayne, IN club scene with 12 original songs and a
handful of covers.
Achieving success in Ft. Wayne, they decided to release the Cd single
"Rail". Containing
two originals and a David Bowie cover, "Rail" was sold exclusively at shows
across northern
Indiana. One year, 100 shows, and 1000 cdslater, That Guy established itself
as one of the most
exciting live shows in the Ft. Wayne area.
Skys were blue, but 2 years into the fold, That Guy suffered its first
setback. Tut was
called off by the great Shang-Hi warlords of China for reasons yet to be
known. To find a
replacement, That Guy searched the four corners of the world to a pirate
ship off the coast of
Madagascar. There, Joey was aquired through a game of Kanasta with a drunken
sea captain and his
first mate. After a short stay, the new That Guy returned to Ft. Wayne
determined to finish what
they had started.
That Guy now has its sights set on a new full length cd. Titled "City
Lights & Starlets",
it contains 14 of the That Guy songs that have rocked every club they've set
foot in. |
