Artist description
London, England based Rock band with tender country heart. Their influences range from the more obvious (Mojave 3, Smog, Gram Parsons, Badly Drawn Boy, Neil Young, Johnny Cash) through to some that are suprisingly un-country (The Jam, My Bloody Valentine, Oasis, Aphex Twin, Small Faces, OCS). Whilst this is a diverse bunch of influences it very much reflects SideBurners reluctance to follow conventional paths. Their philosophy is to write and perform great music - but most of all to enjoy themselves. As anyone who has attended any of their live shows can testify, these boys are having a good time!

Artist History
SideBurner originated as an acoustic trio, but in line with their philosophy of stretching the boundaries of Country, they have evolved and corrupted into a fantastic riot of power, kept in check by a fragile Country heart. Despite the diversity of their songs, there is a definate common core to all SideBurner tunes. Ranging from the poiniance of "Satellite" through the crass magnificence of "Intoxicant Sublime", The bar room seediness of "Whiskey Bottle" to the quiet tenderness of "Glory and Pain" there is always a strong melody. The lyrics seeth with passion diluted with wry cynisism and warped humour. The tunes writhe and crackle with energy. Wicked.
